any computer is going to be able to play movies (might have trouble playing 1080)
youre going to have trouble finding a laptop with a good enough gfx card to play games for a grand.

did research on the card
says can play MW2 etc on high - ultra high graphics
not looking for a harcore gaming laptop
just one that can play some

A satellite is a good laptop man, my bro got his for 1200 and it is GREAT.

Main things to look for ...

the i7 and a dedicated graffix card
