Ok, lets figure out Dark Matter. This thread is designed to be sort of like a brain storming session. Everyone who is interested post your opinions, knowledge and thoughts regarding dark matter and lets figure this shit out.

it accounts for like 90% of the matter in each galaxy? maybe 95%...i think it has been identified by gravitational lensing

AFAIK there is supposed to be about 4x more dark matter than there is regular matter, and then dark energy makes up 75% of the universe's mass-energy. So that puts regular matter around 5% and dark matter around 20%.

Dark matter is both there and not there. The same way matter is both there and not there.
Dark matter only exists when conscious beings look into space and experience it visually.
