About to come home from my deployment and looking for vacation ideas on the east coast or central u.s..... anyone know any decent places, will just be me and my girlfriend of 5 years, post some places if anyone has any

i love ashville NC. would go once per year if it wasnt a 15 hour drive. i guess it depends on what you like to do on vacation...

Outer Banks in NC. Lots o' Nature Trails, gg Beach, largest sand dune in the World to climb, Wright Brothers stuff, lots of Lighthouses.
Houses are usually decked out with Heated pools / Hot tubs / etc.
