So I got a bold 9700 and it randomly started going white screen. If I hit the unlock lock button top left it usually corrects its self. Been reading on blogs and so forth that it could be an OS problem, lcd screen problem and what not. Has anyone encountered this before? Just taking a gamble posting here. Thanks in advance.

If it's still under warranty, just take it back to the store. No sense messing around with it if they'll just replace it with the same model at no cost to you. If it's not, they might at least be able to tell you what the real problem is.

update to os 6.. telus mobile has an official update you can use. go to crackberry forums to get it
