Slight possibility you may help initiate a tectonic event, right before it would happen anyway with a WMD but I wouldn't fund the research. That would be basically the same result, with a bunch of radiation. O_o

When I was researching, his work may have some promise, in using the Earth's magnetic field to light a small LED, if you move it around. Not so efficient in the long run.

As mad genius Scientists go, he is up there and I wouldn't count him and his work out yet, for some useful furthering of Science.

tesla is just one of the most known free energy creators... there's a lot of ppl with knowledge and someday them cant be silenced anymore. i even know one case near where i live ^^ but hes blog is shut down now

There's no such thing as free energy. That's a fact. Beliefs don't factor into that.
