i dunno about this, what are the odds of finding life on a meteor that fell to earth? thawts? i thinkin that earthly organisms got into the meteorite and died.

We live in a well populated area of the Milky Way Galaxy...

i would think the odds would be well quite rare

on a side note, there is one theory (less popular ofc) that theorizes that early life actually started on Mars (iirc) and not earth. this theory would have gave a couple extra hundred million years to the development of cells and what not.

There is a lot more than just cellular life near us.
