I know if you add ferrofluid to a sphere magnet it encases it and creates an almost frictionless ball.

Was wondering if you could magnetize a few ball bearings and use the fluid itself as lube for lets say skateboard bearings.
The magnets it self may cause some resistance but could it be possible with an exterior and interior non magnetic ring along
with a mild magnetic ball bearing?

I'm looking for some more experience magnetic geeks before I start experimenting for fun. Ordered 1 liter of ferrofluid for
me and the kids to play with but figured if I could maybe create my own side project
