A 1.5 ml of sea water contains about 4.0 x10^(-10th power) of gold. The total of ocean water is about 1.5x 10^(21st power)L.
Calculate the total worth of all gold in the worlds oceans if the price of gold is $21.00 per gram.

Paying 10 fg for answer and explanation.

1000 mL = 1 Liter

(1.5x10^21 L) (1000 mL/1 L) ((4.0x10^-10 g)/(1.5 mL)) = 4x10^14 g of Gold

(4x10^14 g)($21.00) = 8.4x10^15 dollars
