It's impossible to generalise these findings to human physiology though; only when the monkeys we call ourselves stop blowing cash, and the shit out of each other, ("recession" is being used excessively here by the uk government to get tight-arsed on public spending, and spend more on the war to please obama rant rant rant rage rant) will we get the funds necessary to research this further imo.

Not sure how things are in the US, but I'm sure I've heard of similar research dying on its arse in the UK because of the clowns in power recently.

Obama has greatly increased funding to the National Science Foundation for this type of research compared to the funding the NSF had under W. Bush, so we're not seeing anything like that in the US.

these findings give precursor into possibilities of what possible effects they may have on humans. studies need to look for how this compound works and if any health effects in the rats. but ya the health effects cannot be positive for humans w/o testing. even with testing, somethings get by unnoticed- reasoning why some drug companies recall drugs

In my field of work, we call NSF "free money." :D
