I dont know where the best place to ask is but since this is related to computer science, i decided to post it here.
I am planning to go to U of T and when i was looking at the prerequisites, i noticed program types, Major, Minor,
and Specialist. I know what Major and Minor are but i have know idea what the Specialist program type is.
I also googled it and nothing.

i would assume its like if you do history you specialize in a certain period or something or computer science specializing in programming or something. idk just seems like thats what it sounds like.

Thats sounds right. I didnt think of that lol. I noticed that a bunch of different types of Computer Science
(computer science and math, computer science and economics etc) were specialized.

Within computer science, you can probably specialize in Networking, Information Systems, Programming, or any number of other more specific fields. "Computer Science" is a very vague term.
