Hey, JSP. So today I received 2 huge monitors I ordered last Friday. They're 21½ inches, with a resolution of 1920x1080. They're eco-friendly and have a few presets built into them. I got them from the Staples.com website for $120 each (after $25 instant savings), so 2 huge monitors for $240. Amazing deal.

Here's what I used to have compared to what I now have.

Here's a screenshot (print screen) of them side by side. The image is scaled down to 25% width and height. To see the full-sized image: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12031543/images/desktop.png

Lol, no reason to be sarcastic.. I'm just glad to get rid of that old LCD I had...

And personally, I don't care about HDMI. I don't have any need for it.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to consult with you next time I want to buy monitors for myself.

not much you can do other than spend more money. if you buy cheap you get what you pay for. things like stuck/dead pixels are more than likely to happen a long with premature failure due to cheap construction. not trying to bash or anything just informing.

most common thing is going to be something small like a stuck or dead pixel. monitors usually last plenty long if you keep the dust out of them and dont knock em around.

on a monitor that size you wont notice one or two pixel issues and you will have to be really unlucky to get more than a few of em.

Yeah the one in the first picture hasn't any problems. It's just smaller. No dead pixels, etc. and I've had it for 4 years now. It was about $500 when I first got it. Just goes to show how fast technology is advancing.
