I've been trying to create a self sustaining ecosystem for my two red bellied newts. They're carnivores and like to eat insects or small invertebrates. I need to find something that can quickly reproduce in either water or on land (my ecosystem is semi-aquatic). I'd also like these animals to be about 1-2cm in size max. Do any of you know what kinds of animals would work for feeding the newts?
