This is the GPS I have and I like it
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=13429

My dad has a wide-screen Magellan and it's got some built-in One Touch things. You click the top right to pick from your One Touch choices, and then just by clicking an icon, you can have it do different things based on what you assign, from navigate you to a location or find gas or restaurants or something. I wouldn't like it though simply because it takes up more room on the windshield.

Get the cheapest one, because like every other version of everything else, it does that same god damn thing.

Buy an Android phone and download "Google Maps". Free GPS application, and the best I've ever used.

My phone did have a GPS but i lost it and it costs 100$ to replace that shit... so ... yea..

and about getting the cheapest one... well im a strong believer of what u spend is what you get.

cheap ones to me means their gonna be crappy. if i have to spend an extra 50 bucks for a better one than its worth it. in my opinion.

but thanks for the help guys i made my research and im ready to get my TOMTOM :)

I forget. I know first gen smartphone GPS's didn't have audible instructions, and it really did look just like searching for driving directions on maps.google.com. Do current Android apps have turn-by-turn spoken directions, with a constantly updating view of upcoming roads like a stand-alone GPS has? And if it has the Google Streetview integrated into it, well then that's one of the best reasons I've heard yet to get a smartphone (personally, I don't feel the need to upgrade from a dumb phone since all I do is make calls with mine; I don't even text!).
