A tesla switch is a theoretical perpetual motion machine. Again, you don't have wires with resistance = 0 ohm, so there's energy lost there.
One thing you might be able to do is use solar powered batteries to charge the other batteries, but then you're receiving energy from an outside source (the Sun), and then you've removed what made this ... thing? interesting to begin with.
Even with this in mind, the first picture still doesn't make any sense.
the first picture has the same function as the second one. Only, the first one tells you how it works and the second one has been built (with 4 batteries instead of 3)
It is also possible to make it with 3 batteries.
if you switch with the 'tesla switch' the same thing is happening with the batteries as in picture 1.
you can switch it with you hand, but that would be nonefficient. The goal is to make it switch at 120hz or even faster (but dont blow op your batteries). You can use a relais or transistors or even a mechanical switch (rotor).
the tesla switch is not a perpetual motion machine. its a circuit that will make your batteries last longer then when you use it like we always do.
using this method (when adjusting it propperly) you can use your batteries up to xx time longer.
using a conductor and a coil will boost up the result.
there have been experiments from the year 1905. These experiments have been verified in the 80's and once again in the year 1995. These expirments indicates that this works.
