What are the implications of a finding like this?
He said he wanted basically a description of the universe encapsulated in sentence form or something like that.
Would we stop trying to find the answer/meaning to life if this was found? Would we be full and if so what would the world be like?

I assume your talking about the guest that was on a couple days ago, the guest was Sam Harris promoting his book "The Moral Landsacpe: How Science Can Determine Morality." You seem to have totally misunderstood what was going on. He wrote a book that deals with scientifically quantifying morality. He wasn't a physicist and this had absolutely nothing to do with e=mc^2 or even the universe really. I rather doubt you have any idea what e=mc^2 even means...

This was about people and human interactions and trying to study / describe them with science.

That sounds like a really fucking lame book. From my understanding, I don't really see how he thinks he can ever quantify it. From what I've read about his book it sounds just like a bunch of utilitarian bullshit. He's just taking a stance on morality and claiming it to be science, as though any stance on morality can ever be scientific.

As opposed to conservative propaganda. Where the only science is written in the bible. Laff.
