Just had an organic chemestry exam did well, just one question got me
Arrange these molecules from lowest to highest boiling point.
So I know that Hydrogen bonding causes the highest
Then dipoles
Then longest C chain

Three Molecules:
1) C-O-C-C-O-C
2) HO-C-C-C-C-OH
3) C-C-C-C-C-C

So I know that 2 is the highest
3 has the largest carbon chain
1 has the small hydrocarbon but the two O's. Do they count as two dipoles or do the molecules cancel eachother out?

Basically:
1 < 3 <2 or 3 < 1 < 2

1 should be able to form hydrogen bonds as well i believe. bp = 85
3. hexane - bp 69
