Is there a program I can use to wipe a cpu clean of everything back to what it was when I got it?

I usually get rid of thermal paste with rubbing alcohol and a rag.

lol thats sooo mean but i do like watching processors explode

its called a pc not a cpu btw and you either reinstall windows or use a restore partition. im guessing since you call a pc a cpu you probably don't know how to do either anyways.

Your computer should have come with a backup cd. Hopefully you have this stored somewhere with the other crap your comp came with. Should say something like system restore or something similar. Backup anything you want from your harddrive first onto a CD or flash drive. Then put the cd in, restart your computer and follow the instructions.

Oh... and a cpu is just a part of the computer, not the whole thing.

I think you are talking about your hard drive.

You should have a application called system recovery somewhere on your PC. You can use it to restore your computer to the time you bought it.

Some computers also come with a CD that is system recovery maybe you still have yours.
