Just curious. If two black holes collided, what would happen? Would the one of greater mass engulf the other?

They would merge. This is how Super Massive black holes are formed, like the one at the center of our galaxy.
What happens beyond the Event horizon and the Singularity, nobody really knows.

Eventually the black holes get so big that they destroy the universe, thus creating another big bang.
And the cycle goes on forever.
