I just purchased a new laptop which contains a triple core AMD processor. It is for school
so I wasn't looking for anything to powerful. The laptop I bought came in two models at the same price.
One containing an intel core i3-330m, and the one I bought contains AMD Phenom II Triple core P820.
Did I make the right decision? Due to bad experiences in the past I had with intel I stuck with AMD

the i3 is faster, also has hyperthreading. But the amd one has lower tdp(lower power consumption), so the battery will last longer.

AMD is a fine processor

But anyone who into serious computing should stick with Intel.
