I was doing some searches about a particular subject, and for various keywords I'm either on the first or second page on the google search engines. ( there are over 6000 results, yet I'm usually ranked in the top 10 )

How is the ranking determined of google? Is it by the number of hits/visits or something?

by the number of people searching it and selectings it...plus the ads and buisness deals they get forces them to do it.

but i don't have got any business deals. So people have been selecting it alot then I assume?
