most likely what ill get even thought recertified

ASUS seems to be good about their warrenties, so i figure any issues shud be easily fixed by them

price range is 500-700 if any cares to find me something better

Looking for a decent processor, anything other than an integrated gfx chip (so ati or nvidia plz), and a good amount of memory (ddr2 or 3)

hard drive space is meh to me, That one claim to be SATA but who knows with recertified

this laptop is pretty shitty imo
you should get ram that has DDR3 and at least 4GB+ to even consider good comp and I recommend you get i3 or higher. Core 2 Duos are kinda shitty now for laptops imo.
Go HP here --> http://www.shopping.hp.com/notebooks?jumpid=in_R329_prodexp/hhoslp/psg/lateralnav_notebooks
they got some pretty good notebooks and you can customize it to your need and have nice promotions as well. Stay away from that shitty comp and most importantly, ASUS is shitty company if you ask me haha lol

Do you want it primarily for schoolwork/business or gaming?
