im bored so i found an old mp3 player ancient right ^_^, well for hell of it i was gona download some shit. cus i also found a bunch of old cds O.O. well i downloaded them all to computer library and shit and the freakin mp3 player is powerd by like a triple a battery. and the battery been in there for sometime all like nasty looking so i cleaned it out. found a new triple A battery. and it wont turn on. it bc the old battery that was in there?

probably just broke. which would explain why you forgot about it

clean the corrosion (non-conductive) off the leads with something metal. or dump some coca cola classic (-not generic, not diet, not coke zero, i am serious) on the metal leads that touch ends of battery, let sit for 5 minutes then wipe clean (it should be shiny).

my favorite battery-powered lantern stopped working last september. i cleaned off the corrosion and works great. same thing with car battery but you should definately use coca cola eat through the corrosion with something that big. gl.
