Sprint offers tethering from certain mobile phones for $30/mth, for WiFi up to 8 devices. My question is, under their 3G network, would that be anywhere near fast enough to
connect my XBOX Live up to? How would the speeds compare to that of say, Time Warner Cable's internet? If anyone's has any experience with tethering, please feel free
to chime in.

Thanks!

Verizon has Internet Tethering on the Droid for free, 1 device , or the Droid X, also free, 4 devices. The internet is just about as fast as the internet on your phone, i can use it for my laptop, but the speed is pretty good, kinda laggy on diablo though, im sure it would work, just not sure how fast it would be.

If it's laggy for D2; It'd suck for XBL.

i used to have tmobiles' Edge internet on my blackberry and i used it to run d2/xbl.

xbl was really slow but d2 was playable. barely, but it was.

im sure 3g is a much bigger improvement than that.
