A few things I want to know about this since I can't seem to find much on the internet.
1. Can you get a higher capacity battery in the same dimensions as a lesser capacity battery? (i believe capacity is rated by mah)
2. Is there a way to write custom "firmware" or software or whatever your mp3 player uses so the interface/functionality is totally different?
3. About headphones, what are the best for the money?
4. Is there anything I can mod with the headphones for higher durability and/or quality sound?
You see I'm asking this becuase I had a choice between an iPod and a Sony Walkman. I choose the Walkman becuase it's battery life is 45 hours playing 128 kb/s mp3, almost double that of the iPod, and the battery life advertised is true. Anyway I want to get an even higher capacity battery for my Walkman so I can listen to it for 100's of hours. Also I want to get the most out of my headphones for the price. I don't expect answers to half of these questions but I'm mostly interested in modding the battery. Alright thats it...
TL;DR version - I want to mod my Sony Walkman by putting a higher capacity battery in it. Also, optimize mid-range headphones for free if possible. LMK if you have any experience with this or if you can help me find the right battery, etc.
e/ This forum is dead...fml.
