I want to purchase a paintball gun. I've been recommended buying from tippman.

looking to spend $150-220

first thing is.......

or

tippman A-5

a-5 is best. that was my first marker

Yep, don't start with 98 or you will want to change it after 1 month lol.
Go for A-5 or even X-7 if you have a lil' more budget
