what is the latest if anything? Have there been serious cutbacks to space exploration since the recession?

I'm curious ..

Also this is random but .. assuming Jupiter has time zones .. how many would there be? Pretty much what I'm getting at it is .. on one part of the planet could it be tuesday while on another thursday or friday? Or is that impossible? Stupid I know .. but the mind never stops thinking.

I'm pretty sure NASA has a plan for a manned-mission to Mars within the next 5 years. We have to wait for the orbits to be close enough to make it actually worthwhile and cost efficient to get there and back safely.

Manned Mars trips are not only very very costly, they also are nearly impossible to survive, considering the large amounts of radiation penetrating the atmosphere, aswell as the chemical composition of the atmosphere.

Every gallon of water costs $80,000 to take up.
I see any manned mission to Mars ending in disaster, though.

That is great I love to go. I love just to go into outer space.
