I have a 37" Haier HL37E. It has two HD Component inputs, both of which are having issues.

Component 2 has a consistent yellow tint to the picture. It happens with DVD and Blu-Ray, and I've tested an Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3 on it. The tint stays.
Component 1 is a weird issue - it won't receive video or audio from my xbox 360 or my PS2, but it'll work with my PS3 if I've already started the game or movie (it won't work in the menu). The picture is perfectly fine, not tinted, when it's receiving video.

It's not exactly the best TV; I can get 1080p out of it, but the parts are cheap since it's a Haier. My guess is that the component plugs on the TV are bad, but I don't know a lot about TV hardware. Can anyone think of other possibilities, and is there anything I need to know when buying replacements parts? I'm not opposed to trashing the TV or selling it for parts, but it'd be nice to fix it up.

What happens when you have something running, the TV on a certain component then plug in the wires? Might be a responsiveness issue or not. Try things, cut away at possibilities.

That was the way I figured out the component would respond only if the game/movie was running. Had my PS3, PS2 and Xbox360 plugged into the tinted component, made sure they were outputting then switched to the broken component. Didn't work in the menu for any of the three, only worked while running on the PS3.

PS3 and Xbox both at 1080p, PS2 at 480p.
