Yeah, iso opinions. How much sleep is minimum / optimum for a human being to function properly? I am familiar with the stats, but need stories from personal xp :)

Also: What's your record in not sleeping? I managed to stay awake for 3 days once, but caught myself trying to eat soup with a fork after that... :headscratch:

I know : 1 night without sleeping and you need 1 full week of normal nights to recover

I also know when you sleep too mush, you are tired

And it's better to sleep earlier and to weak up earlier than the other

8 hours is the average optimal amount of sleep that everyone should attempt to aim for

I myself, work fine with 7-10 hours

Nice topic. Tnx 4 feedback guys. About 4-5 days ago, I played too much video games (Titan Quest) and didn't feel sleepy at all. Haven't slept 3 days, and 2 days ago I tried to eat soup with a fork. That is some weird shit...

8 hours is optimal, I agree. Last year I've slept about 5/6 hours max a day, and after a few months it really started to wear on me. Got cranky, a tad depressed and sad. Not going to do that again.
