I've been victim to the virtual worlds of RPG gaming. When ever we become uncomfortable with our unplanned time, it becomes relaxing to involve ourselves with something that takes on the same mechanics for hours. This way we don't have to think, about what is going to happen next in our lives. People play these online games, not because the games themselves are addicting, but because the prospect of free time has become unbearable. I know this may upset the ignorant nay-sayers, that need a simple explaination like "God says technology is evil". But I really think we can do better than this. I don't think this problem of "bordom" is natural, and it does not have to be accepted.
I believe we can structure similar "Mechanics" in a game that allow people adhere to the principals from the life of Jesus. No matter how much time you spend "work-out", you will always be compelled enough to get up and live your life, as you wish. We don't have to avoid problems we don't understand, and put BIG BAD EVIL lables on things that may not necessarily be evil, we can recognize that "nothing" is good or bad, it is the thinking that makes it so (shakespear).
So before you turn Ideas that will be introduced very soon
Look at how distant your kids are becoming (if they are) and ask yourself how many answers you think you "really" have, and if your quick opinions are worth their death.
