dont do it!!!! if you have a samsung.

i updated it and now i have no sound when i attempt to watch any form of movie. it just plays on as normal but no sound.

any help would be appreciated

Samsung BD-1590
firmware version 2.05


currently trying to download the firmware onto a usb so i can hopefully reinstall it. it wont let me update via the player as it says its up to date already.

if this doesnt work hopefully one of you fine people can enlighten me of some other way to fix my error. possibly reset to factory defaults by some means? id be most appreciative.

This seems to be a common issue.

Yeah I'm trying one more thing when I get home from class and if that doesn't work it's getting exchanged

so after trying several things online im pretty sure its just bricked. great quality picture is nothing without gg sound... or any sound for that matter
