So i'm thinking about buying a netbook, my dilemma is getting one with windows 7 vs. xp. I love xp, but i've heard good things about 7. Question is can you play d2 on 7, and does anyone know how 7 affects a netbooks performance, like does it tax it a bit.

Any knowledge/ experience that you can give me would be greatly appreciated

*please note that i'm not buying one to just play d2, it would be sweet, but if i just can't i'd be fine too.

if you are looking for one without 7 check out the samsung nc10 it has xp on it. 10.something inch screen and comes in blue white or black

Get the cheaper one. You can always download windows 7.

it might depend on the specific one you buy. i know that for the asus 1005ha the performance difference between xp and w7 is negligible. you should be able to play d2 as well.
