I'm applying to SunyIT and cobleskill, both SUNY tech schools that I would just go to for two years then transfer

So i'm trying to decide between computer science or computer engineering. Computer science seems like it's more general and would give me more options, but computer engineering sounds more hands-on rather than just sitting in some office programming software for the rest of my life.

If anyone who has majored in one of these has some advice it would be appreciated
