Drinking makes you lose your inhibition.

So does that mean you are your real self when you are drunk?

or does it mean your arent your real self because you cant really control your actions.

example, a girl -> slut -> only drunk or whenever?

You're looking for opinions on the otherwise known as "truth serum" effects of alcohol. In my opinion you are not your real self when you drink. Because the real you doesn't have the courage or the fortitude to outwardly act the way you would boozed up. Therefore it's not the real you, but rather an outward form of your internal thinking that you normally keep to yourself. Now I'm not saying it brings out EVERYTHING you think about... But a heightened level.

And you still account for your actions (or should rather) even while drunk, therefore whither you really are or aren't in control... It should be assumed you are.

that idea can go both ways. when u are drunk u can do very absurd things but when u arent will you be doing those same things? which one is really yourself? drinking distorts reality and judgement and it may help you release your real inner self but shouldnt you be able to do that when u are sober since a sober person can rationally think?

Well, like others said before, it's not the REAL you, since you normally don't really have the courage to do things you'd do when you're drunk... it's pretty much your inner-self... it's what you really think inside of you... but not who you ''normaly'' are... but yeah... I'd say that if you wanna know the truth about something, ask it while the person is drunk... more chances of getting the true answer... xD
