If neither of those work, try -just- holding option during boot. If -that- doesn't work, then the keyboard really is dead. If it brings up the boot manager, then it's a problem with software somewhere along the line.
yea i tried that and the keyboard wont work so yea....that didnt do anything, anyone else got an idea
