okay so i tried to use my mac today that i havent used in a few days, and none of the USB ports work on it. when i turn it on there is no mouse and not one button will work on the keyboard. can someone help me with this please...........

Haven't used my mac in quite some time, but I would assume from PC experience your drivers are toast?

during boot, before the apple comes up, hit apple + option + p + r

if that does nothing, instead, hit apple + option + o + f and type in "reset-nvram" hit enter, and then type "reset-all"

If neither of those work, try -just- holding option during boot. If -that- doesn't work, then the keyboard really is dead. If it brings up the boot manager, then it's a problem with software somewhere along the line.

yea i tried that and the keyboard wont work so yea....that didnt do anything, anyone else got an idea
