lol;d it can die by trauma but wihtout sickness or anuyting touching it it can live forever i supose and his must be the worst grammer in the historey of man kind

there is no other organism quite like this. yes a tree can live for 10 thousand years, possibly forever. but this jellyfish reverts to polyp stage (infancy) after becoming sexually mature. it actually reverses its life cycle. 100% percent of these particular jellyfish do this.

i wonder if this means they are incapable of evloving further? dunno why i think that.
