For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

So?

IANAP but I think that all of Newton's laws are now considered just a crude approximation of reality, so I'll have to go with a very tentative "not really."

Hmm, maybe. I thought he proved it though?

Just as the angle of incidence does not exactly equal the angle of reflection, it is just a close approximation.

As my Physics 1 (basically Newtonian physics) professor said "everything I'm going to tell you this year is wrong, it is just a matter of how many decimal places you have to go to unearth my fallacy".

His fallacy of claiming it is wrong? XD

Newtonian physics is by no means "crude". It is correct in 99.999% of cases, but if falls short when trying to calculate the most extreme cases such as the very large (black holes, quazars, etc), or the very small (quantum mechanics).

yeah, i heard of that. and somehow einstein was trying to combine the big and small laws but his iq was too low.

You could say for each action there is a reaction. However the direction and force has to be determined with relativity.
