well i found a good one that has all the qualitlys i need yet still small and protable and in the netbook clase. just the site was a scam site so hadda cancle my order.
what do you recomend tho? atm im running on a imb thinkpad lenove t60 with 12g ram and standard proccesser which i needa upgrade also, and im running fedora.
just looking for a more compack but sitll good spaced and nicer upgrade from it. something more travel capable and nicer.

welcome to any other ideas tho. i might stick with a notebook/laptop class i gues. just wanted something smaller and better. price isnt a issue.
any advice?

and think its worth saving the money and getting a refurbished one from geeks.com, or should i just buy new? i know with refurbished i might have to return a couple times till i get a good working one. but i buy alot of stuff off them and i get free shipping/returns.

edit: i was thinking about the, Eee PC 1101HA Seashell 11.6 inch Atom 1.33GHz/ 1GB/ 160GB/ XP Home Netbook -Black - 1101HA-MU1X-BK
and just upgrading it a bit.

Avoid Macs and you're good to go.

Will you be using it for games at all? Just for web browsing? Software? Play music on it?
All depends on purpose.

They don't suck. They're just 5x the price.
For the price of a mac notebook you can get a pc notebook that is 5x as good.

If all you're doing is web browsing then it doesn't really matter.
Just get as much as RAM as you can inside your price limit, with a decent processor.
Nothing else really matters.
