ok, say for example, a carton of eggs ( @ 1 Dozen / 12 Eggs) weighs 768 grams ( 1.73 pounds)

Carton weights = 12 grams ( .0264 pounds)
Each Eggs weights = 63 grams ( .1388 pounds)

and say wind is blowing at a 6km per hour (3.72 miles per hour) in any given direction
and the carton is throw at a 89 degree angle from the ground.

how far would the total weight of carton + eggs travel.

dont make sense to me, but its how ive gotten it out of a textbook for maths.

Without knowing the surface area of the carton and thus it's wind resistance it'd be hard to be accurate.

Do you know how hard it was thrown? Or if it was thrown directly with or against the wind? That's a horribly worded question for a math book, but my answer would be: it'll travel until it hits the ground.

Not nearly enough information to give an exact answer.
