"In the case of BlackLight Power, Randell Mills claims to have been able to extract energy from the hydrogen atom in a catalytic reaction with a heavy metal that drops the electron closer to the nucleus (proton) than the lowest (so-called ground state) Bohr orbit. Such a fractional Bohr orbit change releases one hundred times as much energy (in the ultraviolet—hence the name “black light”) as simply burning hydrogen can achieve."

"Last year BlackLight announced that it had a prototype reactor capable of putting out 50 kilowatts of thermal power using a tiny amount of hydrogen. The company said that the device releases energy in one short burst and that it's working to make the reaction continuous. It also said it planned to scale up for pilot operation sometime this year, estimating that its technology could produce electricity for under 2 cents per kilowatt hour. That's on a par with nuclear and coal power plants and considerably better than gas and petroleum plants. "

It even gets better: "Recently, the Company achieved a breakthrough solid fuel that it is very efficient at liberating energy from forming "hydrinos" and requires essentially no energy to reverse the chemical product back into the initial solid fuel. Regeneration was achieved simply with heat. This enables simplistic and efficient systems that use heat liberated by forming "hydrinos" resulting in a significant decrease in the time to commercialization.

BlackLight's results have been published widely and replicated by independent groups. On August 11, 2009, BlackLight announced off-site validation of its breakthrough solid fuel chemistries, as well as identification of the hydrino reaction product. This guy's studies have been highly criticised, for his unclear form of experimentation. He appears to have found proof for the existence of hydrino's, but at the same time does not give clear information about his work.

Or, as Feynman (who I have higher esteem of than Mills) stated: if you're doing an experiment, you should report everything that you think might make it invalid — not only what you think is right about it... Details that could throw doubt on your interpretation must be given, if you know them.

He's doing it wrong =(
