I heard Anatomy and Physiology are the hardest classes in college, I am kind of scared of taking, since a lot of people told me you have to memorize a lot of stuff in a short period of time.

No, it's not. A lot of the time the people saying this haven't taken advanced chemistry or biochemisty, or any sort of science that deals heavily in system parameters. They simply have a hard time grasping concepts in physiology, because they aren't quite as well prepared as someone who has more experience in the "primary" sciences that underpin it.

Anatomy is absolutely a piece of piss.

it really depends what kind of a learner you are. human anatomy and physiology is definitely a ton of memorizing. my girlfriend took it last semester and her notecards for the final review were at about 500. it's not necessarily a difficult class, however. if your memorization skills aren't up to par then you may struggle, but if you're one of those lucky people that can simply remember how a system works with little effort, you shouldn't have much of problem. i guess what i'm trying to say is no, it's not a conceptually challenging class at all like some engineering classes.

Make sure, atleast for anatomy that you take the class with a lab... It let's you get hands on experience with the parts of the body that you need to memorize and really helps with the memorization process. For physiology, make sure you go to class, pay attention, and take good notes... Then just study like you would for any other test and you should do fine.

Anatomy wasn't as difficult as Economics and Engineering was.
The other replies as "studying" and hands on, are 100% correct. Some people learn visually, others learn technically. It really does depend on which type you are.

If you are serious about college, that's a plus. Attending every class and doing the required syllabus routines will help. As with any class, if you miss one class, you miss hours of preparation.

Don't get too over anxious about what some say about classes. There have been times when one person couldn't handle it, while the other person whizzed by and got an A.

Good luck with it.
