How free is our mind?

Are we able to make decision based on our psychological free will, ore is a decission just the product of biochemical processes in our brain?

what do you think?

We are free to undergo biochemical processes that are the cause of our decisions which are based on psychological free will as well.

Biochemical process. Our mind can only do as it's programmed to do. Just like a computer.

Not really thats like saying everyone is mapped out to be what there suppose to be...a lawyer...a doctor..a serial killer...

the choice we make and how we deal with them is what makes us who and what we are..thats part of life...we make our own decisions..were not programmed

She only meant that all our thoughts are biochemical processes. Which is true, you are a slave to your brain.

They are all extremely complicated biochemical processes, but unfortunately this forums' excessive use of marijuana has made you all into existential-thinking psuedoscientists who need to do something with their lives instead of asking dumb questions that they think are "deep" on the internet.

this question is "deep" on the real-life-realms as well, mr super-scientist.

So all you've told us so far is that there are extremely complicated biochemical processes. I think everybody knew this allready before you told us.

So the question is: are neural processes the result of our thoughts or is our mind just a "by-product" of this processes?
