so i have a rather annoying ping at the moment.

on vent it's bouncing from ~200 to about 1500.

none of my roommates are downloading or streaming anything and our router is password protected. i've also got the only cat5 slot taken(roomies are wireless).

if i unplug the router and reset it my ping is fine for about 5-10 minutes, and then it starts acting up again.

any ideas?
