why do people have crowns? I really wanna know lol. Like, shouldn't hair just grow upwards? instead of at one point, suddenly these strands decide to grow in a spiral...

and..

wtf does " and then some! " mean?

k i know i posted just before this thread, another one about a tomato being a fruit/vegetable - that was a joke ofc

but i'm really wondering about this >_> ... i'm serious.
can anyone guess why we got crowns?

OH! maybe it's cause when people like... exit the womb when they're born and that first spot that comes out is the crown eh?

Er... no, tthey didn't have hair when they're just born.... and I have 2 crowns, yet I actually was born feet first! LOLOL

You must consider the logarithmic spiral of the universe. This basic form, which appears throughout nature, time and space reveals the mechanism of creation and the fundamental unity and interconnectedness of life.

I read that one scientist theorized that it was due to our aquatic beginnings. All the hair on our body is directional to aid in the efficiency of swimming through water.

but...if you notice, swimmers hardly tend to have that part of their head going forward through the water :S, in fact, the common way people swim (i dont' know what it's called) --where they paddle their legs and rotate their arms like wheels-- usually keeps the top of your head over the water
