Pythagoras wasn't even the first one to come up with the Pythagorean theorem lol... the Chinese, Indians and Arabic people already developed this long before.

Anyways, this whole thread is stupid. You can't judge who was the most influential, especially when each physicist contributed something important, without which the next physicist wouldn't have been go ahead.

In terms of fame though, people only really recognize Einstein and perhaps Stephen Hawking.

well if he asks about Physics... My Vote goes to Newton... I know he was rather slow in his discoveries compared to other ancient cultures... but He did make everything simple enough for us Commoner's to understand.
