I have a Motorola SLVR and when I try connecting it to my Mac with a USB cable, my iTunes tries configuring it but the phone never shows up ]:

Does anyone know what's going on and how I can fix it?

check if the slvr even supports osx
get on motorola's site and see if you can download any software for it

chances are your comp simply sees this as a USB device, you will need whatever sync software motorola has for the slvr to actually put things onto it


some phones you can remove the micro SD card and place any MP3 on it and the phone will pick it up, others have to be converted to phone specific formats
