hi people im in my middle yr of gr 9 and im think of being a scientest of som sort. can sum1 giv me a job description and information on the career.

Err there's no one job that consists of being a 'scientist'. There are many branches of science that you can go into, and even more sub-branches. Biology, physics, medicine, zoology, etc... Then the sub-branches might be microbiology, molecular biology, quantum physics, MRI technician, etc.

At 9th grade level you won't gain anything even if I explain job descriptions to you, just wait until you're half way through senior year (honestly, take science classes -- I'm sure you haven't taken AP Chemistry, or AP Physics or even AP Biology, your opinions will change)

This is something you need to explore by yourself and see what you like, there are THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of jobs that entail being a "scientist"... don't focus on a career right now, focus on learning, then go to college and focus on a general field of study and then worry about career.

Just do well in your science classes and take note of which ones you like the most, and look into subjects you aren't exposed to in school, like astronomy.

In Grade 9 you won't learn much in Science, same with 10, in 11 make sure you take a University Level Chemistry, Physics, or Biology, or all three, like I did. Repeat in Grade 12.

Also, only focus on those 3, or mabye forget Biology if you just want to do pure Science and not become like a Doctor or someone who does work with living things.

But anyways, your only 14/15, you won't know what you will be doing if you just want to be a general scientist, not knowing what field or speciality. Theres plenty of websites that show job descriptions. And you will probably have to take a carreers course next year so don't worry about it yet.

Be an evolutionary scientist, a man who researches genetic changes within a species. you can document all kinds of genetic discrepencies amongst species and figure out common changes that are occuring and all that jazz.
