I could be wrong, of course, but try just changing the extension and using it for your nefarious mp4 purposes afterward? I'd put a minor wager on it working just fine.
well the problem is that ps2, 3 and xbox 360's dont recognize it when its on my harddrive. if i wanna watch it on a tv through one the consols it has to be in mp4. they recognize SOME of my avi/wmv formated videos but they universally reject the .m4v format. are you saying if i just resave / rename the file with .mp4 itll be the same thing? (i use vlc so they work fine on my comp but not through the aforementioned consols)
