time is just the progression of existence-
the playing out of every action and reaction, the first action being the beginning of time.
we experience this more acutely because we are a reaction having the intelligence to question and comprehend this kind of thought
its simple really,
Time is the same wherever you go. it is happening at the same rate, only the perception of it changes because of the cycle from which you were brought.
ex: if you are a creature of a larger planet your life is longer and a smaller planet?shorter life... you get this?
there is no actual distortion of time in space due to its bending under the force of the central object
to conclude this i also believe that all time, from beggining to end is happening all at once, or in one moment. different timescales can be experienced though.
you can experience this time to be infinitely long if you are on an object that is spinning fast enough.
at the edge of the universe, one would observe the earth to be spinning at, lets say 100000000000000000 times per second.

this is for everyone who thinks that time is of some form and that it can be distorted or bent by the forces of objects
the only thing being distorted or bent is your perception.

I think you're on the right track, but time in definition is paradoxical, because something infinite cannot have a first action.

Basically if something had a first action, it must have a last one. You said that it is infinite, yet there was a "first action".

I'm refuting this by saying that your first statement implies that time is finite. I have a first day of living(birth), therefore

all of my actions cause me to have a last action(death). The universe had a first action (? Big bang ?) and it has a last action (?)

these questions are very difficult to answer. However I believe time to be the relative perception of

matter vs energy. Time cannot exist without matter or energy, otherwise it simply does not exist.

I also think that time is an EARTHLY concept, namely other creatures in other planets will

probably not share a similar conception of time, making it extremely relative to

the individual species perception of matter and energy. Share your thoughts on this.

sorry
this first action i am talking of defies all possible explanation, as you could imagine. i wouldn't put it on the level of time, but i believe the time we experience is a reaction to this.
time went on forever before this action , it was just the beginning of our time.
lets say something made 100 of these "first actions" each of them being the creation of a new universe and the creation of another cycle/kink in time.

Humm... the twins paradox theory is contradictory to your statement, isn't it ? or i miss understood what you were saying =/

just an observation, the theory is based on physics but it proves that the time isn't just something that is the same everywhere ... it could be diff tongue.gif !

Right, but you regard time as a uniform conception. I think time is relative and useless when compared to another creature's relative interpretation. I think time is the perception of matter and energy relative to postion in space time. Perception alters our ability to articulate time based on our species. Other creatures on other planets may not have a conception of time at all, or a continuous interpretation of time, rather than regimented into discrete units such as minutes, seconds etc.

Try to think of time as continuous, I know I can't... but maybe other creatures can! See what I mean?
