Alright, my internet modem is connected to my router which of course is connected to my cpu. I get internet, my wifi devices pick up my wireless router. Thing is i can't connect to the internet and this is really stressing me out. I never had problems with it before this is the first time. I use to have comcast but i cancelled it and bought a modem off a guy which with that modem you get internet with no monthly payment. It was just a 1 time fee, when i first got this (hot) modem my wifi was still working great and now i'm guess i pressed something wrong that if i try to use iphone/laptop with wifi it sends me to a comcast website and i can't do anything else from there. on my xbox i got a wireless adapter that picks up wifi and my xbox can pick up my wireless router but it just can't connect to the internet. For who ever helps me with this problem meaning gets my wifi working again i'll be more then glad to give you my 55.55 fg I have no use for fg i don't play d2 or anything.

So at one point all of this was working fine?

then out of nowhere it stopped working without you going into the wireless router setup page?

If this is the case, then perhaps comcast figured out your scam and you'll have to pay for internet again. perhaps not though.

Does the internet work hard-wired from the router to your computer (with cat5 cable)? If not, bypass the router and try the internet with a cat5 cable directly from the modem to your computer. If the answer in both cases is no, then your router isn't the problem, it's your modem.

If the router works wired but the wireless doesn't, this isn't an issue with them 'figuring out' your scam, it's just something wrong with the settings somewhere. In this case I would re-set your router to factory settings (which usually involves holding the reset button for 30 seconds) or however you do it on your specific model. Then use the software to set it up again. If it still doesn't work, either you're doing something wrong or something is physically wrong with your router.

Very simple solution. Your modem is using the same physical address as another modem.
