I fear that my Ipod is going to die very soon, its been having some problems lately with its hardware.
There are songs on my Ipod that I got off of other people's computers, so I need a program to where I can transfer songs from my Ipod to my computer.
I've tried Idump before, but last time I used it, it didn't take ALL of my songs off and cleared out my Ipod.

Does anyone know of any good programs?

"ipodrip windows" is the first autofill supplied by google upon entering the word "ipodrip"

Guess it's for windows as well.

Ok, if you want all songs off your iPod onto your computer this requires no program besides iTunes really...
Ok when your iPod is plugged in, go to My Computer.
From there go to the Drive where your iPod is eg., "E: iPod".
Once in there you know your music must be somewhere within this.
Now, Apple tries to hide this info from you.
So you must go to the upper bar to Tools>Folder Options.
Once your in folder options, click "view".
Now you'll see this:

So now make sure the "Show hidden files and folders" is marked in the options, and if it's not, mark it.
Hit apply and Ok.
Ok, now you'll see the iPod_Control folder.
This folder is that in which all of your music on your iPod is located.
Now, drag that folder onto the desktop.
Depending on the amount of songs/videos/photos, it may take a while.
Once it has finished and this folder is on the desktop, right click on the folder.
Go to properties of this iPod_Control folder.
Now, make sure the folder's "Hidden" box, under Attributes, is unchecked.
OK, youre almost done.
Now, go into iTunes.
From itunes go to file and then add folder to library.
Find desktop through all locations and find the iPod_Control folder and add the folder to the library.
So this should also take a bit of time depending on how many songs there are.
Hope this helps, and no, I didn't copy and paste this..
Wrote it all out..
any questions pm me or look it up on youtube or google
